Coherence Length Measurement——Michelson Interferometer

 
      Coherence length is an important parameter of measuring the temporal coherence of an laser. The measuring method is to split the laser beam in two-way lights. When the two light beams recombine, they interfere and form interference fringes in the focal plane. Coherence length is defined as the optical path difference of the two-way lights when the interference fringes contrast >50%.
